Terms of Use

These terms are a practical starting point for the beta version of Live the Message. They should be reviewed by counsel before a public production launch.

Service description

Live the Message is a pastor-governed, sermon-grounded reflection app for churches. It helps users ask questions, pray, reflect, and explore weekly sermon themes with AI-assisted responses shaped by church settings and sermon content.

No replacement for human care

The app is not a pastor, counselor, physician, attorney, emergency responder, or substitute for church leadership. Users should contact appropriate human help for pastoral care, counseling, emergencies, medical issues, legal issues, abuse, self-harm, or danger.

Church responsibilities

Church administrators are responsible for the sermon content, church profile, theological settings, contact paths, pastoral handoff rules, and any church-provided materials they add to the service.

User responsibilities

Users agree not to misuse the service, attempt to bypass safety boundaries, submit unlawful content, impersonate others, interfere with service operation, or use the app to harm themselves or others.

AI-assisted responses

AI-assisted responses may be incomplete, mistaken, or inappropriate for a user's situation. Users should evaluate responses carefully and seek human pastoral or professional support when needed.

Changes and availability

The service may change over time, especially during beta testing. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development.
